Renault Duster is much awaited vehicle from the renowned French auto manufacturer – Renault. It has launched the new SUV which is gaining huge popularity among the motor drivers. The vehicle has been launched in both the variants – petrol and diesel and hence, claims to fit the preferences of all buyers.Discussed below are the important details of much hyped Renault Duster which you may plan to buy this year:

The all new Renault Duster is designed to confront all types of roads with a perfect off roader look. Falling under the D segment of car, the vehicle has Logan Platform, and on the front side, it has three slat grille with a captivating Renault Logo in the center. On the either side of the grille is a double optic headlamp. Bonnet is flat with no curves but with some characteristic visible lines, while the side is also interesting with sharply cut beltline. Further, the rear side of the vehicle has vertically placed tail lamps,curved boot lid, hexagonal wind shield with rear wiper and skid plate.
Instead of giving you a luxury feel, the interior of the vehicle reflects sporty look. Most of the interior concept has been drawn from Logan, and focusing on the dashboard first, the vehicle shows three spoke steering wheel with Renault Logo at center. Large dials embellish the instrument panel which is illuminated in red to compliment the look. The seating capacity is restricted to 5 passengers and the vehicle enjoys 475 litres of boot space that is expandable up to 1636 litre by folding down the back seats. Other interior features which may attract you are electrically programmable front sears and power windows, Bluetooth and aux input functions and music system integrated in the central console.
The vehicle is available with two engine options – one, powered by 1.5 l DCI (mimicking Nissan Micra),second, 1.6 l petrol engine. The 1.5 l engine is designed to produce two different power outputs – 108.5 bhp, which can touch the maximum torque of 248Nm, and 83.8 bhp, which can touch the maximum torque of 200Nm. It is also available either with two or four wheel drive system.
The price of petrol variant of the SUV has been ranged between 700,000 to 850,000, on the other hand the diesel variant is priced between 750,000 to 1,150,000.
The vehicles giving tough competition to this SUV are Tata Safari, Mahindra Scorpio, Force One and XUV 500.
